Western Gas Resources

Western Gas Resources, or WGR, is an energy company based in Denver, Colorado. It was founded in 1971.

Description

The company is an independent natural gas explorer, producer, gatherer, processor, transporter, and energy marketer.

WGR was acquired by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) in June 2006. It is a Fortune 1000 company.
