"Waar is de zon" ("Where is the sun")[1] was the Dutch entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1994, performed in Dutch by Willeke Alberti.

The song is a ballad, in which the speaker asks an absent lover what has become of him. She compares his love to the warmth provided by the sun, and asks where this has gone. As the song nears its end, however, he returns to her and the final chorus features a key change and the more positive words: "You are the sun / That will warm me."

The song was performed 13th on the night, after Malta's Chris and Moira with "More than Love" and before MeKaDo singing "Wir geben 'ne Party" for Germany. By the close of voting, it had received a total of four points, placing it 23rd in a field of 25. New rules, introduced to limit the rapidly growing number of finalists, meant that with this result the Netherlands failed to qualify automatically for representation at the 1995 contest, and the country's next appearance was at the 1996 contest by Maxine and Franklin Brown performing "De eerste keer".
