Vendavel
The Vendaval (alternate spellings include Vendevale and Vendavel) is a westerly wind that blows into the Mediterranean Sea around the area of the Straits of Gibraltar and Morocco. This is generally associated with travelling depressions entering the Mediterranean from the west.
