VC Zenit-Kazan (Russian: Зенит-Казань) (formerly "Dinamo Tattransgaz Kazan") is a professional men's volleyball team based in Kazan, Russia. It plays in the Super League (8-time champion). The team won the 2007–08, 2011–12, 2014–15 and 2015-16 CEV Champions League titles, thus being the most-titled club in its new history. As of October 2016, Kazan is ranked 1st in the Men's European clubs ranking.

History

The club was founded on 13 May 2000 by the decision of Tatarstan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kazan City Administration. It was formed at the base of Directorate of Internal Affairs and aimed at taking part in games of Russian Championship First League.[1]

Stadium

Kazan Volleyball Centre is a modern complex with total area of 13 thousand square meters. Capacity of the main arena 5,000 spectators, a small 700, has all the necessary support facilities and well-equipped gyms. Arena is located at street Midhat Bulatov, in the neighborhood, Sun City. In 2013, St. Petersburg will take volleyball tournament of the Universiade, but until then there are games of Russian and international tournaments in a short time here will be placed club offices.
