The 2002 United States Senate election in Arkansas was held on November 5, 2002. Incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Tim Hutchinson ran for a second term, but lost re-election to Mark Pryor.

Major candidates



Republican Jim Bob Duggar challenged Hutchinson in the primary.

In the Republican primary, Hutchinson received 71,576 votes, or 77.7%, and Duggar received 20,546 votes, or 22.3%.[1]
