UBCM, also known as Union Basket Chartres Métropole, is a semi-professional basketball club that is based in the city of Chartres, France. "28" is the number of the Eure-et-loir department. The club plays in the NM1.

History

"UBCM" reaches the National 3 in 2005 and having crossed five seasons there, the "Union Basket Chartres Métropole" reaches the National 2 where there is only a season by succeeding in realizing two rises in two years. Indeed, the club ends on the first place of one of four groups of this division. Following playoffs, the club ends finally third of National 2 and obtains its entry in National 1.^[1]
