Abreu signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent in August 2013. He made his professional debut in 2014 with the Dominican Summer League Astros. He pitched 2015 with the Greeneville Astros and started 2016 with the Quad Cities River Bandits before being promoted to the Lancaster JetHawks.[1] On November 17, 2016, Abreu was traded along with Jorge Guzmán to the New York Yankees for Brian McCann.[2]

Domingo Antonio Acevedo (born March 6, 1994) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.

Acevedo signed with the New York Yankees as an international free agent in 2012. He made his professional debut in 2013 with the Dominican Summer League Yankees and spent 2014 with the Gulf Coast Yankees.[3] Acevedo started 2015 with the Charleston RiverDogs, making one start before going on the disabled list. When he returned from injury he was sent to the Staten Island Yankees.[4] He started 2016 with Charleston,[5] and later joined the Tampa Yankees. He finished 2016 with a 5-4 record and a 2.61 ERA.[6]

Chance Adams (born August 10, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.

Adams attended Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. He played college baseball at Yavapai College for two years before transferring to Dallas Baptist University. After one year at Dallas Baptist, Adams was drafted by the New York Yankees in the fifth round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.[7] He made his professional debut with the Staten Island Yankees and was later promoted to the Charleston RiverDogs and Tampa Yankees.[8] Adams was converted into a starting pitcher in 2016 and started the year with Tampa.[9] In June, he was promoted to the Trenton Thunder.[10] Adams finished 2016 with a 13-1 record with a 2.33 ERA.[11]

Andújar signed with the New York Yankees as an international free agent in July 2011.[12] He made his professional debut in 2012 with the Gulf Coast Yankees. He spent 2013 with the Gulf Coast Yankees 2 and 2014 with the Charleston RiverDogs. Andújar played 2015 with the Tampa Yankees and started 2016 with Tampa before being promoted to the Trenton Thunder.[13][14] After the 2016 season he played in the Arizona Fall League.[15] The Yankees added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[16]

Alphonse Dante Bichette, Jr. (born September 26, 1992 in Orlando, Florida) is an American Minor League Baseball (MiLB) third baseman who was drafted 51 overall in the 2011 Major League Baseball draft by the New York Yankees. [17][18][19][20]

Bichette debuted in the Minor Leagues as part of the Yankees Gulf Coast League team, the GCL Yankees on June 20, 2011.

Bichette was born in Orlando, Florida in 1992. His father Dante Bichette, is a former Major League Baseball player.

During his senior year at Orangewood Christian High School he batted .640 with 10 home runs and 40 RBIs in 30 games.[21]

He represented Brazil at the 2017 World Baseball Classic.

Daniel Ricardo Camarena (born November 9, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees' organization.

Camarena attended Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego, California, where he starred for the school's baseball team. He committed to attend the University of San Diego (USD) on a college baseball scholarship to play for the San Diego Toreros baseball team.[22]

The New York Yankees selected Camarena in the 20th round of the 2011 MLB draft. He signed with the Yankees rather than enroll at USD, receiving a $335,000 signing bonus that is close to the recommended slot value for a third-round pick.[23]

Camarena pitched for the Charleston RiverDogs of the Class A South Atlantic League in 2013.[24][25] In 2014, Camarena began the season with the Tampa Yankees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League, and was promoted to the Trenton Thunder of the Class AA Eastern League during the season.[26][27]

Camarena is from Bonita, California.[26] His older brother, Louie, played baseball for University of San Diego High School.[22]

Andrew Jacob Cave (born December 7, 1992) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the New York Yankees organization.

Cave was drafted by the New York Yankees in the sixth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of Kecoughtan High School in Hampton, Virginia. He made his professional debut that season for the Gulf Coast Yankees. In his first game he fractured his kneecap in a collision at home plate.[28] The injury caused him to miss the rest of the season as well as the entire 2012 season.

Cave returned in 2013 to play 113 games for the Charleston RiverDogs. He finished the year hitting .282/.347/.401 with two home runs. Cave started the 2014 season with the Tampa Yankees.[29] After hitting .304/.354/.395 and three home runs in 90 games with Tampa, he was promoted to the Double-A Trenton Thunder in July.[30][31]

Cave was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2015 Rule 5 Draft.[32] Cave did not make the Reds' Opening Day roster, and he was returned to the Yankees on April 5, 2016.[33] Cave ended 2016 with a .330 batting average, 8 home runs and 55 RBI's.[34]

Coshow originally played college baseball at the University of Oklahoma but transferred to Oklahoma Christian University.[35] He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 13th round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.[36][37] He made his professional debut with the Staten Island Yankees.[38] Coshow spent 2014 with Staten Island, the Gulf Coast Yankees and Charleston RiverDogs. He started 2015 back with Charleston and was promoted to the Tampa Yankees.[39]

Rashad Travelle Crawford (born October 15, 1993) is an American professional baseball center fielder for the Tampa Yankees of Minor League Baseball.

Crawford was drafted in the eleventh round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Chicago Cubs out of Mundy's Mill High School in Clayton County, Georgia. He spent two years in the Arizona Fall League in rookie level ball. From 2014-2016, he was promoted one level each year, from low A, to A ball, than high A in 2016.[40] On March 27, 2016, Crawford had one at bat in a preseason game against the Seattle Mariners, in which he struck out.[41] On July 26, 2016, Crawford was traded to the New York Yankees along with Shortstop Gleyber Torres, Outfielder Billy McKinney and Pitcher Adam Warren in return for Closer Aroldis Chapman.[42] Crawford joined the teams' high A affiliate, the Tampa Yankees immediately.

Austin Douglas DeCarr (born March 14, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.

DeCarr attended Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, Massachusetts, where he played baseball and football.[43] He committed to Clemson University in July 2013 to play college baseball.[44] After high school he attended Salisbury School in Salisbury, Connecticut for one year.[45]

DeCarr was drafted by the New York Yankees in the third round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.[46][47] He signed with the Yankees, receiving a $1 million signing bonus, rather than attend Clemson.[48][49] DeCarr made his professional debut that season with the Gulf Coast Yankees.[50] He pitched in 11 games with eight starts, going 2–1 with a 4.63 earned run average (ERA) and 24 strikeouts in 23 13 innings.

Dietrich Enns (born May 16, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.

Enns was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 19th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft out of Central Michigan University.[56] He made his professional debut for the Staten Island Yankees. In 22 games, he was 2–0 with a 2.11 earned run average (ERA) and 33 strikeouts over 42 23 innings. He started 2013 with the Charleston RiverDogs.[57] He was promoted to the Tampa Yankees during the season. Overall he pitched in 28 games with eight starts, and went 4–6 with a 2.94 ERA and 112 strikeouts in 82 23 innings. He pitched 2014 back with Tampa and 2015 with Tampa and the Gulf Coast Yankees. He spent 2016 with the Trenton Thunder and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.[58] The Yankees added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[16]

Feyereisen attended River Falls High School in River Falls, Wisconsin and played college baseball at the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 16th round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.[59]

On July 31, 2016, the Indians traded Feyereisen along with Clint Frazier, Justus Sheffield and Ben Heller to the New York Yankees for Andrew Miller.[60] Feyereisen finished 2016 with the Trenton Thunder, after playing 33 games for the Akron RubberDucks. He finished the 2016 season a combined 7-3 record and a 1.70 ERA with both teams.[61]

Drew Robert Finley (born July 10, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.

From ages 12 to 16, Finley's father did not allow him to pitch in order to minimize the risk of future arm injuries.[62] He attended Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, California.[63] During a game his senior year, he struck out a San Diego section record 20 of 21 batters faced.[64][65]

Finley was drafted by the New York Yankees in the third round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft.[66][67] He signed with the Yankees and spent his professional season that year with the Pulaski Yankees where he posted a 3.94 ERA, with 41 strikeouts in 32 innings pitched. Finley spent 2016 with the Staten Island Yankees where he went 0-3 with a 4.28 ERA.[68]

His father, David Finley, currently works in the Los Angeles Dodgers front office.

Ford played college baseball at Princeton University for the Tigers from 2011 to 2013. He was both a pitcher and first baseman. In 2013, he became the first player in Ivy League history to be named both the Player and Pitcher of the Year.[69][70]

After going undrafted in the 2012 Major League Baseball draft, Ford signed with the Yankees as an undrafted free agent.[71][72] He made his professional debut that season with the Staten Island Yankees.[73] Ford started 2014 with the Charleston RiverDogs. Kyle H. Higashioka (born April 20, 1990) is an American professional baseball catcher in the New York Yankees organization.

Higashioka attended Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California. The New York Yankees selected him in the seventh round of the 2008 MLB draft.[94] Higashioka played in only 13 games combined during the 2013 and 2014 seasons due to Tommy John surgery and a broken thumb.[95][96] He played with the Tampa Yankees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League in 2015, and became a minor league free agent after the 2015 season. He re-signed with the Yankees.[97]

Higashioka started the 2016 season with the Trenton Thunder of the Class AA Eastern League, and won the Player of the Week Award.[98] He was promoted to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders of the Class AAA International League during the season.[94][96] He finished the 2016 season with a .276 batting average with 21 home runs and 81 RBIs. Tarpley was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the eighth round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft out of Gilbert High School in Gilbert, Arizona. He did not sign with the Indians and attended the University of Southern California (USC) to play college baseball for the Trojans. After one year at USC, he transferred to Scottsdale Community College.[134] Tarpley was then drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the third round of the 2013 MLB draft.[135] He signed with the Orioles and made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Orioles. He spent 2014 with the Aberdeen IronBirds.[136]

On January 27, 2015, Tarpley along with a player to be named later was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates for Travis Snider.[137] On August 30, 2016, Tarpley and Tito Polo were traded to the New York Yankees as the players to be named later in the August 1 trade for Iván Nova.[138]

Luis Torrens

Luis Alfonso Sáez Torrens (born May 2, 1996) is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher in the New York Yankees organization.

Torrens signed with the New York Yankees as an international free agent on July 2, 2012.[139] He made his professional debut in 2013 for the Gulf Coast League Yankees 2. In 2014 he played for the Charleston RiverDogs, Gulf Coast Yankees and Staten Island Yankees.[140][141]

In March 2015, Torrens had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder, which ended his 2015 season.[142] He returned from the injury in 2016 and played in 52 games with Staten Island and Charleston.[143]

Tyler Wade

Tyler Dean Wade (born November 23, 1994) is an American professional baseball shortstop in the New York Yankees organization.

Wade was drafted by the New York Yankees in the fourth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft out of Murrieta Valley High School in Murrieta, California.[144] He signed with the Yankees and made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Yankees. Near the end of the season he was promoted to the Staten Island Yankees.[145] In 2014, Wade played for the Charleston RiverDogs. He started 2015 with the Tampa Yankees and was promoted to the Trenton Thunder during the season.[146] Wade received a non-roster Spring training invitation by the Yankees in 2016 and started the season back with Trenton.[79] Wade finished 2016 batting .259 with 5 home runs and 27 RBI's.[147]

Matt Wotherspoon

Matt Mark Wotherspoon (born October 6, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees organization.

Wotherspoon graduated from Crestwood High School in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he played college baseball for the Pittsburgh Panthers. The New York Yankees selected Wotherspoon in the 34th round of the 2014 MLB draft. He made his professional debut with the Staten Island Yankees of the Class A-Short Season New York–Penn League.[148] In 2015, Wotherspoon pitched for the Charleston RiverDogs of the Class A South Atlantic League, the Tampa Yankees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League, and the Trenton Thunder of the Class AA Eastern League.[149] He began the 2016 season with Trenton, and was promoted to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders of the Class AAA International League in May.[150]

After the 2015 season, Wotherspoon worked to complete his undergraduate degree at Wilkes University.[151]
