Tony Yike Yang

Tony Yike Yang (born December 7, 1998) is a Canadian pianist.

Yang won fifth prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in 2015 as the youngest prizewinner in the history of the competition at age 16. He unanimously won the first prize in the 2014 Cooper International Piano Competition. He won first prize at the 6th Bösendorfer and Yamaha USASU International Piano Competition and was the youngest prizewinner at the Hilton Head International Piano Competition in 2013, winning third prize. In 2012, he won second prize at the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. He studied in The Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy for Young Artists at the Royal Conservatory of Music, and the pre-college division of the Juilliard School. Now he studies at Harvard College, in the four-year joint program with the New England Music Conservatory. ^[1][2][3]
