Thyê Mattos Ventura Bezerra (born 22 August 1987) is a water polo goalkeeper of Brazil. He was part of the Brazilian team (as a substitute) winning the silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada.[1]

Bezerra is wanted on a warrant for sexual assault. After his team lost the Americans water polo final he went home with a 22-year-old women and assaulted her in her bedroom. "The victim was asleep when she was sexually assaulted" according to Inspector Joanna Beaven-Desjardins during a press conference. Bezerra was in Toronto from 3 to 6 July and left Toronto on 16 July, just hours after the alleged attack, and went to Kazan for the 2015 World Aquatics Championships. Another Brazilian water polo player was allegedly in the victims home at the time of the alleged sexual assault, but is not considered to be a suspect. One of the alleged victim's friends was also present at the time of the alleged assault.[2]
