Statuette of Joakim Vujić

The Statuette of Joakim Vujić (Serbian: Statueta Joakim Vujić) is Award of the Knjaževsko-srpski teatar from Kragujevac, Serbia.

On February the 15th, the Theatre day, the oldest Serbian theatre, delivers to the most eminent Serbian theatre writers, actors, directors, scenographers, composers, the Statuette of Joakim Vujić.[1]

It is named in honor of Joakim Vujić, translator, writer and renowned playwright, who was the first director of Knjaževsko-srpski teatar in 1835.[2]

Author of the Statuette of Joakim Vujić is Nikola Koka Janković (was born in Kragujevac in 1926), sculptor and a regular member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.[3]
