The untitled film tentatively titled The Ring is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film written and directed by Imtiaz Ali. It features Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Evelyn Sharma in the lead roles. This film marks the third collaboration between King Khan and Anushka Sharma after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).

Pre-production of the film began in April 2015 and principal photography commenced in August 2016 at Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon and Budapest. The film is scheduled to release on August 11, 2017.

Production began in April 2016[1] and plans to filming were announced in the first part of August 2016, when the film had the working title "Production No. 52".[2] Few details have been given about the movie's plot, however news outlets have reported that Khan is set to play a tourist guide that meets a vacationing woman, played by Sharma.[2] Sharma required several months of diction training to prepare herself for her role, as her character is from Gujarat.[3]

Filming began in late August 2016 in Prague.[4][5] and was continued at Amsterdam & Budapest from September 2016.[6] Filming locations include multiple locations in Europe, as well as in Punjab.[7]

Pritam will compose the soundtrack album for the film and Irshad Kamil will write the lyrics for the film.[8][9]
