The Gemfields is a locality in Central Queensland in Australia, near the town of Emerald. As the name suggests, the main industry in The Gemfields is sapphire mining, supported by tourism.

At the 2011 census, the The Gemfields had a population of 1630.[1]

The locality contains three small towns: Anakie, Rubyvale, and Sapphire.

GemFest is an annual festival in the region, attracting large numbers of visitors.[2]
