TeleRetail AG

TeleRetail is a Swiss Internet of Things Mobile Commerce and Urban Logistics Automation Technology Developer. The company's core development is its TeleRetail platform which makes products from local vendors accessible through smartphones for automated delivery. TeleRetail enables customers to effectively expand their local selection and to save time. Together with leading research institutions and industrial partners, TeleRetail develops autonomous mini transporters to automatically run local errands.

Since its inception in 2014, TeleRetail AG focused on the development of its cloud-based Internet of Things Mobile Commerce platform as the core for urban logistics. The 2015 TeleRetail platform release applies customer preferences, geo-location, traffic information, social data analytics, Social CRM and real-time availability information to optimize the interaction and selection of products from local vendors.[1][2][3]

Customers use the platform to connect with products, orchestrate their deliveries, and to expand their selection.[4][5]

In late 2015, TeleRetail AG expanded its Cloud-based platform to enable it to include any kind of local store or service provider. Version 2.0. can also be used to create regional "malls in the pocket" and to facilitate mobile robotic vending. Customized versions of TeleRetail are applied in various Smart Cities as well as Service Providers and Retailers.[6]
