Targetprocess is a visual project management software solution that focuses on the agile software development methodology with out-of-the-box support for Scrum, Kanban and SAFe.[5] The software can be customized to support custom project management approaches and workflows.[6] It is available as an SaaS and as a downloadable package. This software is accessible via modern web-browsers and mobile applications for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.[7]

History

Targetprocess 1.0

Initially released in 2004, Targetprocess v.1.4 won Jolt Productivity Award in 2006.[8] The software focused on Extreme Programming planning and tracking practices.

Targetprocess 2.0

Targetprocess v.2.0 was released in 2006.[9] It had as new features: customizable workflows, time tracking, search, and release planning with user stories. Targetprocess v.2 won Jolt Productivity Award in 2008.[10]

Targetprocess 3.0

Targetprocess v.3.0 was released in September 2013[11] and featured a new user interface based on information visualization principles, Android and iOS apps, and live updates.[12] The new release put a greater emphasis on data visibility and included four different ways to view data sets: boards, interactive timelines, hierarchal lists and a customizable view via DSL.[13] Targetprocess was featured in InfoQ,[14] KillerStartups,[15] PMSoftware [16] and various blogs.[17][18][19]

Integration

Targetprocess has built-in integrations with Git, Subversion, Perforce, Tableau, JIRA, Bugzilla, NUnit, JUnit, Selenium, Jenkins, MS Team Foundation Server, MS Visual Studio, Eclipse and Zapier.[24]

Targetprocess provides integration and customization options via REST API, Plugins SDK, Webhooks and Mashups.[25][26]
