Swiss Management Center (SMC) is a for-profit education corporation founded in 1985 with operative headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. SMC also has offices in Vienna and Buenos Aires. As of 2012, SMC University reports 2,231 students.[1] SMC University has undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs.

The Swiss University Conference does not list SMC among the "Recognised or Accredited Swiss Higher Education Institutions", meaning SMC is not accredited as one of Switzerland's state universities by the OAQ.[2]

SMC's Associate, Master's and Doctorate programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), ACBSP is recognized by the U.S Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).[3][4] SMC is a member of the European Council for Business Education (ECBE) and was previously accredited by ECBE, however, recently SMC chose not to renew their accreditation with this agency.[5] As of September 1, 2012, SMC is also registered with the National Accreditation Board of Ghana.[6]
