SuperCasino is a gambling television channel in the United Kingdom which launched in April 2005 as Vegas 24/7 and was owned by Telecoms TV, later Vegas 24/7 Broadcasting Ltd and currently by NetPlayTV plc.[1] A website SuperCasino accompanies the TV channel and live feeds of the TV channel are available to view 24/7.[2]

Broadcasting

SuperCasino broadcasts 24 hours on Sky channel 862 and every night of the week on Channel 5. Its presentation is based on the game of roulette, which has two variations, Live Roulette and Roulette Express. Live presenter led programming is available from 18:00 to 04:00 daily and has automated roulette during 04:00 and 18:00 on the Sky channel. Viewers can register and play along via their telephone, on the website or through their smartphone[3]

Super Casino is available on Sky but was removed from Freeview channel 39 on 20 October 2009 and Freesat channel 851 on 28 July 2010. However, it's shown overnight on Channel 5 and sister channel Channel 5 + 1 between 00:00 and 04:00 every morning.[4] It is broadcast live from studios in London, with additional broadcast facilities in Guernsey, CI.

SuperCasino was the first casino operator to have a live TV Roulette channel in the UK[5] and uses only accredited roulette wheels in line with e-gambling license.

Live Roulette

Live Roulette is the name given to the presenter led roulette offering. Presenters 'host' the show and every few minutes a new roulette round is played and viewers/players can watch the Croupier spin the ball around the roulette wheel. As soon as the ball is in motion the table is 'closed' for betting and no more bets can be placed. This format has remained unchanged for many years.

Roulette Express Premium

During the hours of 4am-6pm when presenter/spinner led Live Roulette isn't being broadcast there is a simpler Autowheel game, named Roulette Express Premium.[6] An automated roulette wheel using jets of compressed air to move the ball automatically is used as the main gaming device and each roulette round is shorter in duration than the presenter led show.
