Sony Kix was an Indian sports television channel, which was owned by Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd. MSM). The channel was launched on 8 April 2015, the day when 2015 Indian Premier League began. The channel was the second sports channel after Sony SIX of Multi Screen Media (MSM). The channel formerly broadcast IPL matches with commentary in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali, as well as Hindi and English.[1][2]

It shared many sports tournaments with its sister channel Sony SIX, like The FA Cup, Italian Serie A, Liga BBVA, Mixed Martial Arts. The channel was rebranded as Sony ESPN on 17 January 2016. [3]
