Original version

The song was recorded as a duet with Jabara and Donna Summer in 1978, and appeared on Jabara's album Keeping Time.

Karen Carpenter recorded a cover version for an unreleased self-titled solo album.

Marcia Hines' version, released in 1979, was a chart hit in her adopted home of Australia, as well as New Zealand.^[1] It was included on her album, Ooh Chid.

Ahmad Jamal also recorded a cover for his album Night Song in 1980.
