Slobodo-Turinsky District (Russian: Слободо-Туринский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Slobodo-Turinsky Municipal District.[4][3] The area of the district is 2,709.1 square kilometers (1,046.0 sq mi).[5] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Turinskaya Sloboda.[2] Population: 15,091 (2010 Census);[6] 17,034(2002 Census);[9] 18,950(1989 Census).[10] The population of Turinskaya Sloboda accounts for 35.5% of the district's total population.[6]
