Simple Grapher

Simple Grapher is a free educational program, Designed and developed by Brwa Hussen, it allows users to graph mathematics functions, find derivative of functions and other graphing and mathematics tools.^[1][2] It is an application that enables you to create advanced plots and graphs using mathematical functions. The program allows you to graph 2D and 3D drawing for educational purposes and could be a helpful tool for teaching mathematics in middle and high school students. It goes without saying that the app can also be a tool that can help you show off your knowledge and skills.

You can create an image by adding various math equations and points in a definite order. To be more precise, you can incorporate various types of linear equations and values to obtain an accurate straight or curved lines that connect to each other to create a drawing.

The application includes several tools and utensils that can help you draw using very precise lines. Therefore, you can use axis, grid lines, numbers, tips, outer frame and mouse coordinates to plot the mathematical functions. Alternative, you can choose the transparent background, if you are feeling creative.

In the addition to the background helpers, the program comes with various tools that can lend you a hand with setting the correct values and parameters. Simply put, the application incorporates a basic calculator, fx evaluator as well as a triangle, integral, derivative and composite solvers. Last, but not least important the utility comes with a 3D viewer where you can analyze the effects and details of your plot.

You should know that the program allows you to change the axis and background color as well as specify an exact plot range where you think your graph could fit. Once you are done with your project, you can save your image to PNG, BMP or JPG.

• 1. You can plot explicit function and implicit functions.
  2. Type 120 function, note, points in function tab.
  3. Defining letter and symbolic constants, which are: letters(a,b,c,d,f,g,h,j,k,l,m,n,o,p,q,s,u,v,w), symbols (α,β,μ,ρ,τ,λ,ϕ). Constant values can be numerical values or other functions.
  4. 30 different mathematics functions, like (sin, cos, tan, sqrt, log, ln, exp, sinh, asin, ....)
  5. You can type Rich format notes in function tab.
  6. You can plot derivative of the function, or plot function as an asymptotic function or plot definite integral of the function.
  7. You are able to change function range, Piecewise function, by any variable: x or y.
  8. Finding Derivative of any given function with one click.
  9. Plotting Polar function in function tab with parameter: r=f(θ).
  10. You can type function in standard or linear method.
  11. Easily change the color of any function.
  12. You are able to plot Parametric function, both Cartesian and Polar parametric.
  13. You can also plot explicit and implicit 3D functions, Polar and Parametric 3D function are also allowed.
  14. You can type 300 Cartesian and Polar points so easily in function tab.
  15. The program has nearly 15 sample projects.
  16. You can save your graphs as picture.
  17. You can save your projects as *.fun and *.sfun files.

History

Simple Grapher V1.2 Screenshot

Simple Grapher was released in 2013, it was very simple (that is why named Simple Grapher) and had very simple features (plotting functions and simple inequalities), it also had a very bad GUI. But in few next versions it grow very fast and the program could support lot of features, and in November 2015 the program changed its name to Simple Grapher Plus, because it became very developed program and had a completely new interface.

Plus Version

In (2 November 2015) the program named Simple Grapher Plus, because of many changes was done in that version, Including:

• New way to plot functions (high quality pictures)
• completely new interface
• faster plotting
• many other improvements
