Shashank Vyas (born on 30 November 1986 in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh) is an television, film actor & model. He is well known for his role of Jagdish in Balika Vadhu.

Early life

Shashank was born on 30 November 1986 in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He has done his graduation and started studying for MBA entrance exams. But later he moved on to pursue his acting career.

Career

Shashank Vyas is an Indian Bollywood film[3] and television[4] actor. He made his debut at a small age with the role of Jagdish/Jagya in Balika Vadhu as a male lead character. He impressed a lot many people with his amazing acting skill in this role as he got many different shades to play. After playing Jagya in 'Balika Vadhu' for five years, Shashank Vyas recently quit the show.[2] In 2010, He appeared in Bollywood Hindi film Tees Maar Khan as Cameo. The actor, has now been finalized to play the male lead, a rich boy in Yash Patnaik's 'Jaana Na Dil Se Door' which he plays Ravish on Star Plus.

Shashank has been nominated for many awards and won 'Best Male Debutant' at Global Indian Film and TV Honors in 2011. In 2012 he was honored at colors 'Golden Petal Awards' for Best character portrayal Jagdish. Shashank and Adaa Khan are close friends.[6]

In 2016, he landed a role of Ravish Vashist on Jaana Na Dil Se Door.
