Saudi National Day
Saudi National Day (Arabic: اليوم الوطني للمملكة العربية السعودية) It is celebrated in Saudi Arabia on every 23rd of September, Saudi National Day commemorates the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by King Abdulaziz in 1932.

Establishing of Saudi Arabia
King Abdulaziz was able to regain his predecessors Riyadh, the capital of the founders of Saudi Arabia, and he had to return with his family after recovery of Riyadh, and he continued an armed fighter for in excess of thirty years for the unification of his kingdom, On 23 September 1932 King Abdulaziz decided to unite all the regions of the Kingdom under the name of Saudi Arabia.
Celebrating
Saudi National Day is celebrated with folklore dances and songs and traditional festivals. The roads and buildings are decorated with Saudi flags and people wearing Saudi Arabian shirts. On Saudi National Day, celebrations all over Saudi Arabia regions.
Saudi National Day is an identity of the Kingdom and its history; it symbolizes the ideals and hopes held by the kingdom, and also honors the people who participated in the construction of the Kingdom, and in particular the Al-Saud family, the current leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
On every 23 September is the day that Saudi Arabia remember how it succeeded in achieving national unity and how it has become a distinct nation after it had been a society of warring tribes and lacks security system. On that day,the expression of the feelings of love and gratitude to their country Saudi Arabia.
The National Day of Saudi Arabia an opportunity to learn about the work of the King Abdulaziz and how he did establish the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and how he did to unify his country and celebrate his memory in the national day.

- 2005: King Abdullah acknowledged that starting from the Saudi National Day becomes an official holiday for the kingdom.
- 2009: The Saudi National Day the King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud opened King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, in the presence of a number of heads of state of the world.
- 2014: In the Saudi National Day Jeddah Municipality launched the longer Jeddah Flagpole in the world, mediated applicable in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques square in the central of Jeddah, in a height more than 171 meters, in a size of 49.5 meters tall and 33 meters wide, a total area of 1635 square meters, and weighing 570 kg, and over an area of 26 thousand square meters.
