Sand Storm (Hebrew: Sufat Chol) is a 2016 Israeli drama film directed by Elite Zexer. It was shown in the Panorama section at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival.[3] At the 2016 Sundance Film Festival it won the Grand Jury Prize in the World Cinema Dramatic section.[4] It won the Best Film Award at the Ophir Awards.[5][6] It was selected as the Israeli entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards.[7][8]
