The San Simeon Handicap is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually in mid April at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. The Grade III event is open to horses four years old and older willing to race six and a half furlongs on the downhill turf course.
Since inception in 1968 as a race on dirt, the San Simeon Handicap has been contested at a variety of distances:
- 6.5 furlongs on turf : 1980-1982, 1984–1987, 1989–2006, 2008
- 6.5 furlongs on dirt: 1983, 1988, 2007
- 7 furlongs on dirt : 1968-1975, 1977–1979
- 8 furlongs on dirt : 1976
