Of Polish origin, in his career (1930–1943) he played for Palestra Itália, Força e Luz, Nacional (where he won two Uruguayan championships in 1933 and 1934) and Botafogo. He won the Rio de Janeiro State Tournament in 1935.

- According to FIFA, he would have been in the starting lineup against Yugoslavia, as per the official match report. Other sources, however, do not list him as part of the 1930 squad, including RSSSF, Folha Online (in Portuguese), and "Fussball-WM Total".
