Ebberly House

Ebberly House

Ebberly House was recognized as a grade 11* listed building in 1952.[2] It is a Neo-Classical style country house, rebuilt circa 1816 by Henry Hole, possibly to the designs of Thomas Lee; on the site of and possibly incorporating an earlier house.[2] Ebberly House is noted for being the first country house in England to sell for more than £1 million. Six cottages, plus the remaining farmland and farm buildings, produced an annual income of £50,000 as of 2010.[3]
