Rivulets is the nom de plume of minimalist singer-songwriter Nathan Amundson.[2]

Biography

Mimimalist singer-songwriter Nathan Amundson began performing as Rivulets in 1999 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. He currently lives in Denver, Colorado.[3]

Rivulets has released albums on Chair Kickers' Union,[4] Important Records,[5] and O Rosa Records,[6] and EPs on Acuarela Discos,[7] Silber Records,[8] and BlueSanct [9] as well as numerous singles, EPs, and compilation tracks.[10][11]

Since the year 2000 Amundson has toured solo and as a band member across the United States and Europe, including multiple European tours visiting Austria, Belgium, Croatia, The Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.[12]

Infinite Light Ltd., a group consisting of Nathan Amundson of Rivulets, Aidan Baker of Nadja (band), and Mat Sweet of Boduf Songs has released one album on Denovali Records.[14]

Outside of his work as Rivulets, Nathan has collaborated with Jessica Bailiff and Machinefabriek, and acted as songwriter for Clara Hill.[15][16]

The fifth Rivulets album, I Remember Everything, was released on 12” vinyl by Jellyfant Records in 2014.[17]
