Saint Rigobert
Born ?
Died 743
Feast January 4

Saint Rigobert (died 743) was a Benedictine monk and later abbot at Orbais who subsequently succeeded St Rieul as bishop of Reims in 698.

He was replaced as bishop by Charles Martel for political reasons and banished to Gascony for some time. Charles exonerated him soon, but Rigobert did not reclaim his see. Charles gave him a residence at Gernicourt, where he lived as a hermit and died in 743. He was buried in the Church of Saint-Thierry in Reims.

His feast day is 4 January.
