Rich Shertenlieb (born in New York) is a Marconi Award winning TV and sports radio talk show host on WBZ-FM in Boston, and simulcast nationwide on Comcast SportsNet television co-hosting "Toucher and Rich" with Fred Toettcher.

Career

Rich was the front man for the hardcore punk band Miller’s Tale, a band managed by Gold Mountain Entertainment, the same management company as Nirvana, the Beastie Boys, and Hole. After the band broke up In 2003, he started working at 99X in Atlanta and eventually worked his way to Kidd Kraddick in the Morning. In 2006, he and Fred Toettcher started The Toucher and Rich Show together on WBCN in Boston. In 2009, the show moved to 98.5 The Sports Hub.[1]

The "Toucher & Rich" show has been #1 in the morning ratings in Boston almost every ratings quarter since 2011, and have hit some of the highest ratings numbers in Boston radio history. In the most recent monthly book, the "Toucher & Rich" show reached over a 16 share in the Nielsen ratings.

Personal life

Shertenlieb has lived in Boston since 2005 and currently lives in the city with his wife, Mary, and their children.
