Rayagada railway station serves Rayagada district in the Indian state of Odisha.

History

The 79 km (49 mi) Vizianagaram-Parvatipuram line was opened in 1908-09 and an extension to Salur was built in 1913. The Parvatipuram-Raipur line was completed in 1931.[1]

The Koraput-Rayagada Rail Link Project was completed on 31 December 1998.[2]

Paper mill

J. K. Organisation operates a paper mill near Rayagada.[3]
