The Puerto Rico Islanders are an independent American professional baseball team based in Puerto Rico. They are set to play in the Empire Professional Baseball League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball.
History
In October 2016, the Puerto Rico Islanders joined the Empire Professional Baseball League. They will play as a traveling team until the league finalizes a ballpark and opposing team travel arrangements.[1]
