- Portus Magnus, Algeria: modern Bethioua
- Portus Magnus, Egypt: modern Alexandria
- Portus Magnus (Mauretania), in the Roman province of Mauretania Caesariensis
- Magnus Portus: modern Bosham, near Chichester, England
