Pir Syed Tariq Yaqoob Rizvi Urdu:پیر سید طارق یقوب شاہ رضوی was born in 1960. he is a younger son of late Pir Syed Mohammad Yaqoob Shah (a very famous spiritual and religious scholar, and member of provincial assembly of Punjab who died on 31 August 1991). And younger brother of Pir Syed Muhammad Binyamin Rizvi a former minister of Punjab assembly. Tariq Yaqoob Rizvi was elected as Member Provincial Assembly in general election 2013 and defeated PPP candidate Asif Bashir Bhaghat. Tariq rizvi is famous politician and influential personality in tehsil phalia due to his family background. He made a vast contributions in the field of development and infrastructure regaring roads, colleges and hospitals.

History

Pir Syed Tariq Yaqoob Rizvi is a doctor by profession. he became vice president of PML(N) Punjab after his brother late Pir Syed Muhammad Binyamin Rizvi's death. he participated in Pakistan's general elections in 2008 from the Constituency PP-117 (Mandi Bahuddin-II) as candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) for the very 1st time. and he was defeated by the PPPP candidate Asif Bashir Bhaghat in those elections.[1]
