Phoenix Triumphant: The Rise and Rise of the Luftwaffe is a book by author E. R. Hooton.[1] It is a new look at the rise and fall of the Luftwaffe. It traverses the period 1924 until 1940 with emphasis on Pre-World War II production and plans, aircraft production from 1933 to 1939, and Luftwaffe expansion from 1935 to 1938. It also delves into the secret years of German aviation and has extensive in-depth history and much statistical information. The author credits Alex Vanags-Baginskis for his assistance.
