Philippa Collins is a radio presenter.[1]

History

Collins's first full-time presenting job was in 2002, where she hosted evenings at 96.4 The Eagle. Less than a year later, she moved to 97.6 Chiltern FM in Dunstable to present mid mornings. She eventually switched to Chiltern's sister station to host drive time.

During her Chiltern years, Collins was also recording a weekday evening show for DAB station Core and covering the GWR group's syndicated showbiz evening and late night shows followed, and she briefly presented the networked "Cash Call" five nights a week.

Collins spent 2006 presenting weekends on Kiss FM as 'Flip' and covered weekday drivetime.

In 2007 she moved to early breakfast on 95.8 Capital FM in London, and was also given a Sunday afternoon slot. She also worked as a continuity announcer for UK television channels Living and Sky One.

In 2008, Collins presented a newly created syndicated show on The One Network of local radio stations. The 10am-1pm show lasted only a year following Global Radio's acquisition of the GCap Media group. It rebranded the stations to Heart Radio.


Television work

Collins has appeared as a contestant on BBC's TV show The Weakest Link
She was a live continuity announcer for the Living Channel and Sky 1 2006-2009.
