Percy Henry Winfield

Sir Percy Henry Winfield (16 September 1878[1] - 7 July 1953) FBA was Rouse Ball Professor of English Law between 1928 and 1943.[2] He was born at Stoke Ferry.[3] He died at Cambridge.[4] He is buried in the Parish of the Ascension Burial Ground in Cambridge[5] with his wife Lady Helena Winfield, née Scruby (1887 - 1954). He was a fellow of St John's College, Cambridge.

He was the author of The Chief Sources of English Legal History.
