Paninsky District (Russian: Па́нинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,398 square kilometers (540 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Panino.[1] Population: 29,231 (2010 Census);[4] 33,017(2002 Census);[7] 36,143(1989 Census).[8] The population of Panino accounts for 22.8% of the district's total population.[4]
