The School of Engineering, Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow has emerged in the year 2011 and runs in a separate building other than the trust's three engineering colleges situated in a single campus viz. BBDNITM, Lucknow (Established 1998), BBDNIIT, Lucknow (Established 1999) and BBDEC, Lucknow (Established 2000). It is a private engineering college in the capital of Uttar Pradesh and is a faculty of Babu Banarasi Das University, Lucknow. By Supreme Court judgment, Universities do not require AICTE approval.
