No Echo is a website that covers a cross-section of musical genres, including hardcore, heavy metal, pop, classic rock, rap, AOR, and indie music. The site was launched in 2014 by Carlos Ramirez and Andrew Aversionline. Ramirez is a veteran musician (Black Army Jacket, Deny the Cross) and journalist (Noisecreep, IGN), while his partner formerly ran Aversionline.com, a popular musical blog.[1]

The content on No Echo ranges from interviews to specialized lists to music reviews, and other features. Some of the musicians that have been interviewed on the site include members of such bands as Leeway, Chicago, Municipal Waste, Sense Field, Unbroken, Hot Rod Circuit, Non Phixion, Charles Bronson, and many more artists and music business insiders.[2][3]

No Echo has also written feature pieces on synthwave, yacht rock, funky jazz, freestyle, and various other subgenres of music.

Some of the other posts on No Echo that have gained traction include pieces on the impact Latinos have had on hardcore music, cult religions using music as a recruitment tool, and obscure soundtrack songs from the '80s.
