The Oldfield white-bellied rat or soft-furred Taiwan niviventer (Niviventer culturatus) is a species of rodent in the family Muridae. It is found only in Taiwan.[1][2][3] It occurs in primary hemlock forests, and sometimes in secondary habitats, at elevations of 2,000–300 m (6,560–980 ft) above sea level.[1]
