Nikki Samonte

Nikki Brianne F. Samonte, better known as Nikki "Nikz" Samonte (born March 1, 2000) is a Filipina Child actress, singer and model. She is currently handled and managed by ABS-CBN's talent agency, Star Magic.

Career

Nikki entered the show business at the age of 8. She joined the reality singing competition for kids, Pinoy Dream Academy: Little Dreamers. The song, "Colors of the Wind" was the one that made her way to the Top 12. She sang a total of 7 songs in the competition and ended up as the Top 8 finalist. After the competition, she and the other little dreamers were handled by Star Magic. In 2009, she had her first movie and first appearance on screen. It was from Regal Films' "Tarot". She played the younger version of Marian Rivera. From then, she began to appear in several shows (listed below).

In 2010, she played the role of Wendy in Panday Kids (GMA Network) and played the role of Nikki Lagdameo, one of Coco Martin's siblings in 1DOL. In 2011, she is very lucky to be part of one of the most awarded international musicals of all time, Disney's The Lion King Musical- Singapore production. She was chose to play the role of "Young Nala" in the said musical along with two other girls. It was held in Marina Bay Sands Theatre, Singapore. The show ran for 8 consecutive months (March–October). Nikki went back to the Philippines on October 31, 2011 and now continues her showbiz career in the country.
