Career highlights

Nick Daffy is a former Australian rules football player who played in the AFL between 1992 and 2001 for the Richmond Football Club and then played one game in 2002 for the Sydney Swans Football Club.

In 1996 he was described by Michael Malthouse as the best medium-sized small forward in the AFL. He wasn't a Richmond regular until 1995 because of his making something out of nothing goal kicking. He won the Richmond best and fairest in 1998.He played badly in 2000 and had a bad off field accident. In 2001 he was badly injured and lost his place in the end of the year. But had a good semi final match but injured himself again. But his time ended at Richmond in 2001. He almost crossed to Hawthorn the year before but didn't due to injuries but in 2002 joined Sydney.

He is now a prominent Melbourne restaurateur, with a flagship restaurant at Melbourne Docklands.[1]

As of 2012 he is experiencing financial trouble and is being sued by a Geelong building company for a sum of $25,000 [2]
