Newton-Conover High School (NCHS) est.1775 is a public secondary school located in Newton, North Carolina. It is the larger of two high schools in the Newton-Conover City Schools system (the other being the Newton-Conover Health and Science High School).[2]
NCHS has many notable alumni, including NASCAR Nextel Cup Champion and two-time Daytona 500 winner Dale Jarrett; surgeon and NASCAR commentator Dr. Jerry Punch; and NASCAR owner, crew chief commentator Andy Petree.
