Neratovice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈnɛratovɪtsɛ]; German: Neratowitz) is a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has cca 16,400 inhabitants. The Spolana chemical plant resides there. The town is part of the Prague metropolitan area.

History

Until 1918, the town was part of the Austrian monarchy (Austria side after the compromise of 1867), in the KAROLINENTHAL (Karlín) district, one of the 94 Bezirkshauptmannschaften in Bohemia.[1]

A post-office was opened in 1874.
