Nehemiah McGray
Nehemiah Doane McGray (June 19, 1838 – ? ) was a ship's captain, merchant and political figure in Nova Scotia, Canada. He represented Shelburne County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as a Conservative member
He was born at Cape Island, Barrington, Nova Scotia, the son of Asa McGray and Eliza Ann Doane, of Irish descent. McGray spent sixteen years as a captain for ships involved in international trade. In 1861, he married Mary Ann Smith.
