National nature reserves in Wales

National nature reserves in Wales are administered by Natural Resources Wales (formerly the Countryside Council for Wales). There are 67 reserves.

List of national nature reserves

North Wales

(Gwynedd, Conwy, Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire)

Isle of Anglesey

Mid Wales

(Ceredigion, north Powys, north Carmarthenshire)

South Wales

(Pembrokeshire, south Carmarthenshire, Bridgend, south Powys, Swansea, Monmouthshire and the county boroughs of the South Wales valleys)
