Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Thaqafi

Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Thaqafi was a governor for the Umayyad Caliphate in the early 8th century.

The brother of the powerful governor of Iraq, al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, Muhammad served under his brother as deputy governor for Fars and later served as governor for the Yemen.[1] He died in the latter office in 714/5.[2] His daughter married Yazid II, and they had a son, al-Walid II.[3]
