2013–present: "Waves" and success

In November 2013 he released the single "Waves", becoming a top 10 hit in the Netherlands. The song also charted in Australia, Belgium and New Zealand. The song was remixed by German DJ and producer Robin Schulz and was released on 4 February 2014 in North America and 7 February 2014 in Europe. The remix propelled the song to greater success, topping the charts in Austria, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, and peaking within the top 10 of the charts in Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, and the United States. He featured on 50 Cent's single "Twisted", which was released in May 2014.

His follow-up to "Waves", "Nothing Really Matters", was released in September 2014 to critical acclaim.[1] He featured on Professor Green's single "Little Secrets", which was released in December 2014. In 2014, Mr Probz collaborated with Dutch DJ Hardwell on a song titled "Birds Fly", which was included on Hardwell's debut album United We Are, released in January 2015.
