Moulay Yacoub

The Baths Moulay Yacoub are thermal baths in a Berber village 21 km northwest of Fez, Morocco.[1] Their fame rests on the therapeutic properties of the waters, due to their rich mineralization, and also the mystical-religious component represented by the Marabout Saint who gave his name to the village, and the tomb of Lalla Chaffia erected on a hill overlooking the site. The baths use water pumped from 1500m below ground and achieve a temperature of 54 degrees C.[1]
