Montague Williamson

The Ven. Montague Blamire Williamson , MA [1] was an Anglican priest: the Archdeacon of Bodmin [2] from 1924 until his death on 20 February 1939.[3]

He was born into an ecclesiastical family[4] in 1863 and educated at St John’s College, Cambridge. He was ordained in 1887 and began his career as a curate at Ashburton, Devon.[5] After this he was Curate-in-Charge of Rockbeare then Vicar [6] of Bickington.[7] He held further Incumbencies at Padstow and then Falmouth before his Archdeacon’s appointment.[8]
